About the position

The Accounts Receivable Representative at Providence is responsible for the timely and accurate billing and collections of payments from insurance carriers and agencies for various healthcare services. Responsibilities

• Manage billing and collections for insurance carriers and agencies.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments for services provided.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve billing issues.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance representatives.

Requirements

• Two years of recent experience in a healthcare environment with a focus on reimbursement and collections.
• Experience with insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations.

Nice-to-haves

• College level courses in medical front office/medical billing.
• Experience with Epic software.
