About the position

Providence is calling for an Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team across various locations including AK, WA, CA, MT, OR, TX, and NM. This position is crucial for ensuring the timely and accurate billing and collections of payments from insurance carriers, agencies, and other entities for services and equipment provided by Providence Senior and Community Services and Home and Community Services. The services may include Home Infusion, Specialty Pharmacy, Oral Dose, Skilled Nursing Facility, Home Health, Hospice, and Home Medical Equipment. Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurate billing and collections of payments from insurance carriers and agencies.
  • Manage accounts receivable for various service lines including Home Infusion, Skilled Nursing Facility, and Home Health.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare and Medicaid regulations in billing processes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve billing issues and inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of billing and collections activities.

Requirements

  • 2 years recent experience in a healthcare environment with an emphasis on reimbursement and collections.
  • Experience with insurance contracts and/or Medicare/Medicaid Regulations.

Nice-to-haves

  • College level courses in medical front office/medical billing.
  • Epic experience.
