About the position

Cintas is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to manage all accounts receivable related functions. This role involves keeping track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and planning a course of action to recover these payments. The representative will engage in heavy phone activity with customers, locating and contacting debtors regarding their payment status. Negotiating payoff deadlines or payment plans is a critical part of the job, as is handling questions or complaints from customers. The representative will also investigate and resolve discrepancies, establish good relationships with customers, and regularly update account statuses and databases. In cases where customers are unwilling or unable to pay outstanding amounts, the representative will alert supervisors and comply with requirements when legal action becomes unavoidable.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years' collections experience
  • Ability to use confidential information in a professional manner to achieve collections targets/goals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet.
