The Accounts Receivable Representative position is a critical role within our healthcare organization, which has been recognized as one of the "World's Most Admired Companies" by Fortune Magazine and one of America's 100 Most Trustworthy Companies by Forbes Magazine. This position is primarily responsible for reviewing unadjudicated claims that have been billed to various carriers within the assigned Billing Group, specifically focusing on the No Activity/No Response roles. The representative will maintain accuracy and production levels to ensure that invoices are processed efficiently, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. In this role, the representative will review the ETM task list assignments and rebill claims as necessary. They will also be responsible for posting appropriate rejection codes into the system when needed and assembling and forwarding the necessary documentation to the Senior Representative for any carrier-related issues. The representative will need to stay updated on billing practices by reviewing carrier provider manuals and reporting any consistent errors found during the review process that may affect the correct processing of claims. Additionally, the Accounts Receivable Representative will participate in department meetings with the Accounts Receivables Team and will seek guidance from Senior Representatives or Supervisors in unusual circumstances, which may include write-offs, fee schedules, and claims. This position requires a proactive approach and the ability to perform any and all duties as directed by the Senior Representative, Supervisor, and Accounts Receivable Manager.
