About the position

The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for the review of billing information from Salesforce and other sources, generation of monthly billing, account reconciliations, and performing research as required to respond to customer inquiries, while in compliance with revenue and receivable audit controls in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Processing and reconciliation of billing lines using JD Edwards, Salesforce and other internal systems
• Responding to customer inquiries and follow-up including but not limited to emails and phone calls that may require research in various internal systems
• Preparing invoices on demand as per internal or external customer requirements
• Calculating late fees and interest as needed
• Generating customer statements and delinquency notices as needed
• Uploading customer invoices to customer portals
• Calculating and issuing customer refunds
• Posting and reconciliation of payment items via check, wire, and/or ACH
• Must be detail oriented and able to perform with a high level of professional skepticism
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 5+ years Accounts Receivable or related field experience
• Experience with heavy billing including written and verbal internal/external customer contact
• Functional knowledge or experience with journal entries and GL reconciliation
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instruction
• Proficient Excel knowledge (Experience with formulas, VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables is preferred)
• Functional knowledge and experience with basic Microsoft office programs including Teams and Outlook
• Must be able to work flexible hours during peak billing cycles
• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
