The Accounts Receivable Specialist (Cash Posting) position is a critical role within our client's organization, located in Greenville, SC. This position is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented and have experience in high-volume payment processing. The primary responsibility of the Accounts Receivable Specialist will be to accurately post payments received from various sources, including ACH, Lockbox accounts, and credit card payments. This role requires daily reconciliation of cash to ensure that all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are addressed promptly. Additionally, the specialist will be responsible for customer contact as needed to obtain remittance advices, which are essential for accurate record-keeping and financial reporting. The position also involves participation in weekly team meetings focused on collections efforts, providing an opportunity for collaboration and strategy development among team members. This role is expected to work 40 hours per week on a temporary basis, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs.
