About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist (Part-Time) is responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, including generating invoices, processing payments, and maintaining customer accounts. This role is ideal for individuals with A/R experience who prefer part-time work and can operate independently. The position will initially require in-office presence, with potential for remote work in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Generate customer and intercompany invoices for approval in coordination with operations personnel.
  • Submit invoices into customer processing portals.
  • Create and maintain customer accounts in the system.
  • Record payments from customers.
  • Generate bank deposits.
  • Process payments made by customers by credit card.
  • Communicate with customers regarding invoicing issues.
  • Monitor outstanding accounts to ensure customers are within payment terms.

Requirements

  • Multiple years of experience in a computerized accounting environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft D365.
  • Key attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office products: Excel, Word, etc.
