About the position

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in optimizing the company's financial performance by implementing robust policies, procedures, and systems that drive revenue and maintain financial control. This position involves managing accounts, making calls to clients for payments, and providing detailed reports on accounts receivable activity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and review assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and ensure timely resolution.
  • Make 100+ outgoing calls daily to clients to retrieve outstanding payments.
  • Achieve a company-wide outstanding balance of 6% and an individual target of 7%.
  • Work diligently to reduce accounts receivable delinquency and maintain accurate records of AR activity.
  • Process client payments efficiently to encourage prompt debt settlement.
  • Assist with special projects and research assignments as directed by the AR Manager.
  • Provide detailed reports on accounts receivable activity to the AR Manager, Controller, CFO, and CEO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency with office equipment and basic accounting software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed work performance goals, including those related to AR collections.
