About the position

A growing company located in Carmel is seeking to add an Accounts Receivable Specialist to their expanding team. The role is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity that will require the selected candidate to train fully in the office. After the training period, there will be some flexibility to work remotely for 1-2 days each week. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be part of a tenured team of approximately 8 A/R Specialists and will collaborate with other team members across the finance department. In this role, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks that are crucial for maintaining the financial health of the company. These tasks include posting payments received via check, ACH, and credit cards, reconciling customer accounts, responding to internal and external inquiries for documentation, and creating ad-hoc reports in Excel. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Posting payments received via check, ACH, and credit cards

Requirements

  • 1+ years of accounts receivable experience including payment posting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
