About the position

SIP Industries is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team. This role focuses on managing accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing customers, collecting overdue payments, and collaborating with team members to resolve billing discrepancies. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can streamline processes and implement automation where possible.

Responsibilities

• Daily customer invoicing
• Daily cash receipts posting
• Past due customer AR collection
• Resolving customer invoicing inquiries
• Assistance with other AP/AR duties as needed, including month-end close and audit requests
• Responding timely to internal and external emails
• Ability to streamline processes and implement automation whenever possible
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Associate degree or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in AP/AR
• General bookkeeping/accounting background preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
• Experience working in ERP systems
• Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented
• Good communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork values
