About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the entire accounts receivable process with minimal supervision. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections, as well as resolving discrepancies efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections.
• Perform account reconciliation to verify and maintain accurate financial records.
• Record incoming payments promptly and accurately in the accounting system.
• Conduct thorough research on accounts receivable discrepancies and issues, identifying and resolving problems independently.
• Collaborate with other departments as necessary to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely collection of payments.
• Maintain accurate records of customer account activity and payment history.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
