About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist role at Robert Half involves managing Channel Revenue Deductions for the Customer Service team and utilizing an ERP system to ensure accurate financial transactions. This long-term contract position requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Managing and resolving customer service issues related to Channel Revenue Deductions.
• Accurately processing and recording transactions in the ERP system.
• Keeping track of chargebacks and voluntary deductions.
• Regularly reviewing customer accounts and taking necessary actions.
• Ensuring the accuracy of customer credit records.
• Efficiently processing customer credit applications.
• Maintaining a high level of organization to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Receivable Specialist role or similar finance position.
• Proficient understanding of Voluntary Deductions and their application in the accounting process.
• Proven ability to manage Chargebacks effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for tracking and analyzing financial data.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex problems.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Detail oriented certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
