About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist role at Robert Half is a long-term contract position based in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will manage customer accounts, maintain accurate records, and resolve inquiries, with a strong focus on accounting functions related to Accounts Receivable. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly NetSuite and Cash Applications, is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date customer credit records.
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as necessary.
• Review and reconcile thousands of transactions individually.
• Handle cash applications and reconciliations.
• Contribute to the collection process as needed.
• Assist in the integration process of newly acquired accounts.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Adapt to changes in the workplace and assume additional responsibilities as required by the team.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with NetSuite software
• Knowledge of Cash Applications
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of integrity and reliability
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
