We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the construction industry, based in the Greater San Fernando Valley. The role involves managing customer accounts, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, particularly within the construction sector, and will be responsible for facilitating the payment of invoices, processing construction monthly AIA billings, and following established procedures for processing and posting payments. This position requires effective communication with customers, superiors, and internal staff to resolve outstanding issues, as well as monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities. Additionally, the specialist will work with vendors for California lien and release forms, maintain accounts receivable files and records, and handle additional office tasks and miscellaneous projects as required. The role demands proficiency in accounting software systems and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, to perform various tasks efficiently.
