About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist role is essential for managing the financial transactions of an expanding company. This position involves performing various accounting tasks, including handling accounts payable and receivable, processing daily check deposits, and assisting with collections and customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks at field sites, accounts payable, accounts receivables, and payroll liaison activities
  • Prepare and post daily check deposits received in mail to the bank
  • Contact existing clients to help resolve payment issues and assist in setting up payment plans
  • Send out monthly customer statements
  • Assist with other customer requests

Requirements

  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in receivable/accounts payable
  • Customer Service experience
