About the position

Elevate Living is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage key account collections and ensure smooth financial operations. This role involves monitoring account balances, assisting with month-end reconciliations, and maintaining effective relationships with third-party collection agencies. Responsibilities

• Monitor and prioritize account balances for timely collections from delinquent accounts.
• Prepare necessary documentation for third-party collections agencies and maintain effective relationships with them.
• Assist with month-end reconciliations and accruals, verifying and reconciling accounts receivable balances.
• Process credit card and ACH payments accurately in Yardi and respond to tenant inquiries.
• Conduct research and resolve disputes to ensure efficient financial operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of collections experience or an associate's degree required.
• 1 year of experience working in a professional office environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves
