About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist at CTL Aerospace is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of accounts, ledgers, and financial records. This role involves a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure accounts are up to date, including credit control, processing invoices, and bank reconciliations. The specialist will also support Accounts Payable and assist with special projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the credit control function for all customer accounts and collection of all pro-forma orders.
• Process all sales updates for customer invoices and credit notes.
• Perform bank reconciliation.
• Run monthly credit control meetings.
• Prepare and process cash receipts, matching them to paid invoices.
• Reconcile customer accounts in conjunction with credit control.
• Reconcile sales ledger control accounts on a monthly basis.
• Maintain the AR order hold process and compliance hold process.
• Prepare OEM discount and credit note spreadsheets for month-end close.
• Act as a liaison with auditors, customer service, and the business.
• Process and maintain accounts receivable, including recharging invoices and cashbook reconciliation.
• Assist Accounts Payable as needed.
• Perform month-end close journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to a high standard.
• Assist with MRP implementation and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
• Associate's degree in accounting preferred but not required.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to oversee confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Natural born U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
