About the position

Ascendo Resources is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team in the Miami Metro area. This role is focused on managing the full-cycle accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and will be supported by a collaborative management team.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AR, including invoicing, payment posting, and reconciling accounts.
• Ensure timely collections of outstanding receivables and monitor aging reports.
• Process and verify invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
• Research and resolve discrepancies related to billing, payments, and account balances.
• Maintain accurate customer records, including contact details, payment terms, and transaction history.
• Communicate with clients regarding payment status and resolve any payment-related issues.
• Assist with month-end closing and generate financial reports as needed.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
• Experience with ERP systems like Sage, JD Edwards, Oracle, or similar software.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
