Nexstep Commercial Products is actively seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting team. This full-time position is essential for maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer payments. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for processing daily receipts, ensuring prompt and accurate recording of payments to customer accounts. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. In this position, you will research and address unapplied payments and credits, identifying and communicating any issues related to customer accounts. You will also perform collection efforts for past due accounts, utilizing both email and phone calls to establish good relationships with customers and sales representatives. Collaboration with the CFO will be necessary to determine the status of past due accounts, making this role integral to our financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset, along with excellent internal and external customer service skills.
