The Accounts Receivable Specialist is a vital role within the financial administration team, responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of Accounts Receivable processes. This position is based at the Main Plant in Jerome, Idaho, and reports directly to the Financial Controller. The specialist will engage in a variety of financial, administrative, and clerical tasks that are essential for maintaining the integrity of the Accounts Receivable ledger. The role requires a proactive approach to processing daily invoices, monitoring incoming payments, and conducting detailed month-end analyses of the Accounts Receivable ledger and related general ledger accounts. Compliance with established policies, regulatory directives, and approved business practices is crucial in this position. In addition to the core responsibilities, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment by actively participating in team activities and maintaining professional interactions with customers and management. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, as the specialist will be responsible for generating and distributing invoices, maintaining AR aging and payment reports, and providing exceptional customer service. The role also involves reviewing and approving outgoing freight and commission invoices, assisting with month-end closing processes, and supporting the Commercial Finance and Sales Teams as needed. The position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The specialist will also be responsible for maintaining customer files, preparing key metrics related to dairy market and sales pricing, and assisting the Financial Controller with AR process and control initiatives.
