About the position

The Sr. Manager, Marketplace Seller Success will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of the marketplace by developing and executing a comprehensive strategy aimed at enhancing the ecosystem of partner sellers. This position focuses on the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing success of sellers, ensuring their growth and satisfaction within the marketplace platform.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage an end-to-end marketplace seller success strategy spanning the recruitment of new sellers to the retention and growth of existing sellers
  • Partner with the merchandising and marketing teams to identify and recruit new sellers that support the Enterprise's GTM and category expansion plans
  • Manage and continuously streamline the marketplace seller onboarding process
  • Create and execute strategies to help marketplace sellers continue to grow their sales on our platform
  • Oversee the seller success team which provides centralized operational support to and serves as an internal advocate for our partner sellers
  • Partner with internal teams (e.g., Merchandising, Marketing, IT, etc.) to assist in solving seller issues and identify opportunities to drive seller growth
  • Develop and manage seller performance reporting and analytics

Requirements

  • 10+ years of combined experience in client success, marketing, digital product, analytics, customer experience, operations, or other related roles
  • 5+ years of experience in seller success, client success, vendor relations, or similar roles
  • 3+ years of combined experience in traditional retail or e-commerce marketplace operations
  • 3+ years of combined experience with e-commerce, digital, or app-focused brands
  • Exceptional analytics skills (writing SQL/Python is a strong plus)
  • Entrepreneurial/startup mindset
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of businesses/projects
  • Self-directed problem solver
  • Comfortable constantly iterating and innovating to drive results with limited resources
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Benefits

  • The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
