Come join our Accounting Team in a growing, dynamic building materials company. This administrative role is a full-time, in-office position specializing in Accounts Receivable. Our lodge-style office environment includes beautiful views of the St. Clair River! In this role, you will be responsible for entering and posting all incoming cash on account, which includes daily lockboxes, ACH and wire transfer receipts, Shopify, credit card payments, and local and plant deposits for multiple branches. You will also create and record journal entries, reconcile multiple A/R accounts, and research and communicate discrepancies with customers or sales agents, including returned checks, over payments, short payments, and unearned discounts. Additionally, you will monitor unapplied cash and credit memos, complete bank account reconciliations, and perform other accounting-related tasks as needed.
