About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing and improving accounts receivable processes for a leading automotive client. This role involves researching unapplied cash, reconciling payments, and supporting ledger cleanup efforts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Research and apply unapplied cash to customer invoices
• Reconcile consumer payments and escalate to collections as necessary
• Audit process adherence and documentation for smooth B2B collections
• Identify process gaps and work with teams to improve compliance
• Assist with AR ledger cleanup and support ad hoc projects
• Work independently to meet all deadlines and collaborate with team members as needed

Requirements

• 5+ years of AR experience, including reconciliations and payment research
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and IF statements
• Must have own PC and monitors for remote work
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and follow up efficiently
• Flexible schedule to accommodate business needs

Nice-to-haves

• NetSuite experience preferred
