About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for overseeing customer applications, ensuring the accuracy of customer credit records, and managing customer inquiries. This role involves monitoring customer accounts for discrepancies and implementing necessary actions to resolve any issues. The specialist will also oversee the billing process and manage vendor registration and payment setups.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage customer credit applications, ensuring they are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and update customer credit records on a regular basis.
  • Handle customer inquiries related to accounts receivable and address them promptly.
  • Monitor customer accounts regularly for any inconsistencies or discrepancies.
  • Implement necessary actions in case of any issues with customer accounts.
  • Oversee the billing process, including AIA Applications for Payment.
  • Manage vendor registration and payment setup processes.
  • Handle tax exemption certificates and Material Purchase Certificate applications.
  • Ensure accurate monthly setup of new applications in Excel and monthly submittals.
  • Manage stored material tracking spreadsheets, AIS certifications, and certificates of insurance with storage location.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation processes
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Expertise in AIA Billing procedures
  • Familiarity with Commercial Collections
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge and experience in AIA Billing
