About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing all billing and collections functions within a non-profit organization. This role involves ensuring accurate account reconciliation and collaborating with various departments to maintain employee data flow.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of billing, collections, and account reconciliation.
  • Analyze customer payment plan, payment history, and credit line.
  • Process payments and refunds.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes.
  • Coordinate efforts between payroll, HR, accounting, and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven working experience as accounts receivable specialist.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software.
  • Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
