About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist role at Robert Half is a long-term contract position with the potential for permanent employment. The specialist will be responsible for various tasks related to account management, customer credit applications, and collections, utilizing tools like Microsoft Excel and Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and perform manual reconciliations as needed.
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and handle B2B collections.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Oracle for invoice reconciliation and other tasks.
• Handle cash activity and cash handling procedures.
• Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status.
• Perform daily reconciliation of accounts.
• Execute accounting functions and billing processes as directed.
• Use skills in account reconciliation to maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the Semi-Conductors or Electric Component Manufacturing industry
• Proficient in accounting functions, specifically accounts receivable (AR)
• Experience with billing functions and cash activity
• Comfortable handling cash and processing daily reconciliations
• Proven experience in account reconciliation
• Experience in B2B collections and general collections
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Oracle
• Experience in invoice reconciliation
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the AR process
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive problem-solving abilities
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
