Responsibilities

• Accurately post customer payments by cash, check, or credit card into the accounting system.
• Regularly reconcile invoices, payments, debits, and credits to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies by working closely with sales, customer service, and trade promotions teams.
• Address and resolve authorized deductions with appropriate adjusting entries.
• Maintain and summarize customer accounts, verify totals, and prepare detailed financial reports.
• Protect sensitive financial and customer information to maintain confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing learning opportunities to stay updated with industry practices and enhance job knowledge.
• Ensure effective communication within the team and with third-party receivable services for smooth operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
