About the position

Skaates Inc. is seeking an experienced Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our front office team. This full-time position involves managing client invoices, maintaining records, and ensuring efficient billing processes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong communication skills, contributing to the overall success of the office team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send client invoices (contract, time & materials, service)
• Maintain client records
• Follow up with customers (collections)
• Address billing questions and issues
• Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in billing and accounts receivable
• Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat
• Sage 100 Contractor experience a plus
• A positive attitude and great phone and customer service skills
• Be responsible and prompt

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the plumbing or construction industry
