About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist at Robert Half is responsible for managing the entire accounts receivable process, which includes invoicing, account reconciliation, payment posting, and addressing customer inquiries. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in handling large volumes of data and proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Process incoming payments and post them to the appropriate accounts
  • Generate AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely billing and resolve issues
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide support on billing-related matters

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related field
  • Experience with high-volume invoicing
  • Strong Excel skills, including proficiency in pivot tables and VLOOKUP
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
