About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accounts receivable processes within the organization. This includes monitoring customer accounts, invoicing, handling customer deductions, and ensuring compliance with client contracts. The role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and customer satisfaction, and it offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the organization's accounts receivable processes
• Monitor customer accounts for irregularities and take appropriate action when necessary
• Invoice customers in a timely and accurate manner
• Collect payments and record transactions to ensure all financial records are up to date
• Handle customer deductions and process returns to maintain customer satisfaction
• Review client contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy in billing
• Maintain quality control of order entry to prevent errors and discrepancies
• Reconcile deferred revenue accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Perform system-related steps for month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, Epic Software, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to perform accounting functions, manage accounts receivable, and handle billing functions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with CRM systems
• Ability to use Epic Software
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Experience in performing Accounting Functions
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Skilled in Billing Functions
• Ability to manage Cash Activity
• Experience in Cash Handling
