About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist at Texas Pride Disposal Solutions LLC is responsible for performing a variety of accounts receivable duties to support the accounting team. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing customer bills, and ensuring timely collections while fostering positive relationships with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain various billing schedules, ensuring customer bills are processed accurately.
• Learn and understand operational processes to ensure accurate billing.
• Make daily deposits, including check deposits, credit card payments, and ACH payments.
• Reconcile daily cash deposits with the cash receipts journal and bank.
• Collect and process manifest and disposal tickets for accuracy.
• Maintain collections on accounts and meet with management weekly to review progress.
• Provide phone coverage and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in the TRUX and Waste Industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.
• Experience with problem research and resolution.
• Highly organized with a strong degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills to maintain positive relationships with vendors.
