About the position

The AR Associate position is a 6-month contract-to-hire role focused on managing the accounts receivable process for a local company in Oshkosh, WI. The role involves handling payment cycle activities, ensuring timely invoicing, and maintaining accurate financial records. The associate will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a pay range of $25 to $31 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.
• Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Generate and distribute accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with contract terms, pricing agreements, and agency policies.
• Apply receipts to open invoices in the ERP system.
• Monitor accounts receivable balances, follow up on overdue accounts, and initiate collection efforts as necessary.
• Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly reports.
• Continue to improve the payment process.

Requirements

• 2 years of AP/AR experience
• Associates Degree
• Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts receivable/general ledger systems and procedures

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience with Net Suite is preferred but open to others
