About the position

As a Part-time Accounts Receivable Support at Fastenal, you will be immersed in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment that focuses on a variety of accounts receivable duties for our global locations. Your responsibilities will include applying customer payments, analyzing exceptions, processing maintenance transactions on customer accounts, and reviewing and approving tax exemption certificates. You will also be tasked with reconciling weekly cash proofs and providing customer service through telephone and email correspondence. Additionally, you may be required to perform other administrative tasks as needed, ensuring that all accounts receivable functions are executed efficiently and accurately. This position offers the potential for a flexible schedule after completing a period of onboarding and training, during which you will meet performance goals. Responsibilities

  • Applying customer payments and analyzing exceptions

Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
  • Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
  • Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Work independently and in a team environment

  • Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
