The Accounts Receivable / Trade Management Specialist will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our client, focusing on the accurate processing of trade claims for assigned customers. This full-time, interim position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively collaborate with the sales team to manage financial requirements and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in accounts receivable within the consumer packaging goods industry, as well as a solid understanding of trade management processes. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues related to unpaid invoices, invalid customer deductions, and invoice price discrepancies. The specialist will be responsible for processing all accounts receivable functions accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring that internal controls and financial integrity are maintained throughout the trade management process. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed, making adaptability and a willingness to take on new challenges essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales team to help manage their financial requirements
• Assist customers with trade management and accounts receivable inquiries
• Identify unpaid invoices, invalid customer deductions, invoice price discrepancies, etc.; work with sales and customers to resolve issues
• Process all AR functions in an accurate and timely manner
• Ensure internal control and financial integrity over trade management process
• Perform additional tasks as assigned
