About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist at Aero Accessories & Repair LLC is responsible for managing the daily financial transactions related to accounts receivable. This role involves posting customer payments, preparing invoices, and resolving payment discrepancies to ensure accuracy and efficiency in operations. The specialist will also engage with customers to facilitate timely payments and maintain the integrity of financial records.

Responsibilities

• Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, credit cards, and ACH payments.
• Prepare invoices, bills, and bank deposits.
• Research misapplied payments and process contras.
• Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service, and customers.
• Resolve clients' billing issues and perform day-to-day financial transactions.
• Prepare accounts receivable reconciliation to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting customers regularly.
• Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, and credit lines.
• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with moderate Excel skills preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong data entry skills and a knack for numbers.
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven working experience as an accounts receivable clerk preferred.
