About the position

Randstad is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a leading provider of services in St. Louis. This role is focused on handling all aspects of accounts receivable, ensuring accurate processing of payments, invoicing, and maintaining customer records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proactive, with experience in the month-end closing process.

Responsibilities

• Process and record incoming payments accurately and efficiently.
• Generate and send out invoices to customers.
• Monitor accounts to ensure timely payment and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update information as needed.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with aging receivables.
• Knowledge of chargebacks/RMA processes.
• Familiarity with cash applications and purchase orders.
