About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist at Aero Accessories & Repair LLC is responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and efficient operations related to cash and payment processing. This role involves collecting and following up on past due payments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining financial records to secure revenue for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, credit cards, and ACH payments.
• Prepare invoices, bills, and bank deposits.
• Research misapplied payments.
• Process contras.
• Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service, and customers.
• Resolve clients' billing issues.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables data.
• Prepare accounts receivable reconciliation to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted in the correct period.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting customers regularly.
• Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, and credit line.
• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence.
• Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Hands-on Quantum experience is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, with moderate Excel skills preferred.
• Proven working experience as an accounts receivable clerk preferred.
