About the position

The ACCS Operations Manager at Bay Cove Human Services is responsible for overseeing the operational functions that support the ACCS Leadership Team. This role ensures effective and efficient service provision while managing day-to-day operations that contribute to the success of ACCS staff in helping individuals achieve their personal goals. The position serves as the primary liaison for contract monitoring and is essential in maintaining communication and reporting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage DMH enrollments of ACCS participants and process notifications.
  • Oversee administrative coordination of referrals to housing opportunities.
  • Collect, synthesize, and prepare data for DMH reporting purposes.
  • Perform administrative duties including dictation, transcription, and filing.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, reminders, and take accurate meeting minutes.
  • Track trends through data collection to inform recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborate with MHCS Operations Manager and Director of Quality Management to clarify expectations.
  • Use recovery-oriented language in all communications and interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Psychology, Social Work, or a related area.
  • High degree of personal organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Previous experience working with individuals diagnosed with severe mental health issues strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures, medical records management, and personnel policies preferred.
  • Strong commitment to the rights of individuals with mental health challenges.
  • Professional written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in word processing and computer functions using Windows, Word, and Google Apps.
  • Ability to climb stairs and carry up to 40 pounds, and assist individuals with mobility impairments as needed.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
