About the position

The ACCS Program Coordinator for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services at Open Sky Community Services is responsible for overseeing a team that provides direct support to adults with mental health challenges. This role focuses on ensuring that individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing receive the necessary treatment and support, while also managing team dynamics and maintaining quality service delivery. The Coordinator will engage in hiring, supervision, and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance the well-being of the individuals served.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee team members providing direct support to adults in the community.
  • Hire and supervise effective team members, providing ongoing supervision and evaluation.
  • Maintain a working relationship with interpreter services to ensure quality of services.
  • Develop and monitor schedules to meet individual needs effectively.
  • Cultivate partnerships and maintain a helping role with individuals served and their families.
  • Collaborate with team members in implementing health and wellness plans.
  • Participate in the On-Call rotation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Fluency in American Sign Language.
  • Experience working with adults with mental health challenges.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
