About the position

The Account Executive 3 position at Comcast Corporation is responsible for selling commercial Internet, Video, and Voice services to mid-size and large businesses. This role involves working collaboratively within a team to drive sales through various prospecting activities and relationship-building efforts in designated territories. The position requires delivering live sales presentations, developing customer relationships, and positioning the Comcast brand effectively in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations demonstrating knowledge of Comcast products and services.
  • Exceed departmental financial and unit targets through effective sales strategies.
  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to position Comcast Business Services effectively.
  • Develop sales territory by cultivating local partnerships and organizational affiliations.
  • Generate new leads through prospecting activities such as cold calling, canvassing, and customer referrals.
  • Promote and position the Comcast brand within the assigned territory.
  • Retain customer base by ensuring a superior customer experience and delivering on the Comcast Credo.
  • Maintain and build customer relationships to drive retention and ensure operational efficiencies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate sales records and activity reports as required.
  • Attend out-of-office meetings with customers and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • In-depth experience and knowledge in sales and telecommunications.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective sales presentations.
  • Strong understanding of Network Design and various telecommunications technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with skills in presenting, persuading, and negotiating.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment in significant matters.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery concepts.
  • Familiarity with E-rate Contracting Processes and Procedures.
