About the position

The Account Executive 3 position in Enterprise Direct Sales at Comcast Corporation is responsible for driving the sales strategy of high-capacity Ethernet networks, internet, video, and voice-based services to complex enterprise customers. This role involves working collaboratively within a team to acquire, develop, and manage strategic prospective clients, while delivering compelling sales presentations and fostering strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations to strategic prospective clients.
  • Exceed departmental financial and unit targets through effective selling.
  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging technologies.
  • Develop the sales territory strategy, including identifying strategic partnerships.
  • Research and generate new leads through various prospecting activities.
  • Promote and position the Comcast brand within the territory.
  • Retain customer base by ensuring a superior customer experience.
  • Maintain and build customer relationships to drive retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare required reports.
  • Attend out-of-office meetings with customers regularly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in sales or customer service.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to deliver compelling sales pitches.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer networking and related technologies.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and determine work priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Network Design and MAN technologies.
  • Familiarity with VoIP and data networking technologies.
  • Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery concepts.
