About the position

The Account Executive, National Accounts OffPremise at Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key regional and strategic national chains in the beverage alcohol industry. This role focuses on developing and executing annual business plans to drive sales, expand market share, and maximize revenue opportunities within the OffPremise chain segment. The Account Executive will work closely with supplier partners and cross-functional teams to create customized solutions that meet the specific needs of each account, while also monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture relationships with key accounts in the OffPremise channels of trade.
  • Drive sales growth by promoting and selling the company's products and services.
  • Collaborate with supplier partner national account sales teams to build customer business plans.
  • Conduct product presentations, tastings, and training sessions for customers.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with customers.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to the sales management team.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques through professional development activities.
  • Attend industry and company events to network and build relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA a plus).
  • Four to six years of proven track record in sales, chain account management, or business development within the beverage industry.
  • Ability to occasionally work evening hours and weekends.
  • Ability to travel outside of market or state 50% of the time.
