Our team is growing, and we're looking for talented individuals like you! The Accts Receivable Specialist position is based in our Carolina Regional Office in Raleigh, NC. This full-time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of 2+ years' experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Yardi, as well as Microsoft Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing Receivable Reports to detail owner status regarding past due payments. You will prepare and send timely late notices and collection letters, while providing exceptional customer service to owners by addressing inquiries related to balances, payment plans, address changes, and other issues. Additionally, you will process payments received in the office, via mail, or in person, and review and process owner credit balances for refunds. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $18 to $20 per hour based on experience and qualifications, along with numerous benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Review Receivable Reports to detail owner status regarding past due payments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
