About the position

The ACH Operations Specialist II at Cadence Bank is responsible for managing and executing various ACH processing activities, ensuring compliance with NACHA rules and regulations. This role involves assisting customers and bank employees, handling ACH files, and maintaining accurate reporting on transactional activities. The specialist is expected to have a solid understanding of ACH operations and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Process PEP+ Windows
• Setup/Edit ACH Treasury Products
• Handle suspended ACH files according to company guidelines for various situations
• Work with internal ETL group for customers who exceed daily limits
• Process transactional tickets needed
• Research outstanding transactions on all ACH General Ledger accounts
• Answer phone calls received into the ACH Operations department
• Supply reporting information on transactional activity
• Remain up-to-date and comply with NACHA Rules and Regulations

Requirements

• Minimum 2-5 years prior ACH Operations experience
• Knowledge of general ACH processing concepts
• Knowledge of PEP+ software
• Good computer skills, proficient in Excel and Google
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Excellent work ethic with a strong ability to multitask
• Ability to build strong partnerships with teammates and other departments
• Proactive in problem solving and responding to internal and external requests
• Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Knowledge of Cadence Bank systems, desired
