The position involves administering firm fixed price service or supply contracts for the command, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The selected candidate will receive written requests for centralized procurement of supplies and services, and will be responsible for providing training on relevant topics within their area of responsibility. Additionally, the role requires advising command personnel on documentation requirements and regulations that cover all aspects of procurement. The individual will ensure adherence to Army regulations, Common Table of Allowances, Table of Distribution and Allowance, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and fiscal policies. This position is part of the Army Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Workforce, and the selectee must meet position requirements for Foundational Certification within 36 months of entering duty. The role may also involve evaluating reports to develop agency policy guidelines and operating procedures, as well as performing in-depth reviews of pre and post-award procurement processes. The position may require overtime work and is subject to a suitability or fitness determination based on a completed background investigation. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, and if denied or revoked, may be removed from the position accordingly.
