About the position

The Acquisition Analyst/Product Integrator at DCS Corp plays a crucial role in executing Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition management across a comprehensive product line of aviation equipment. This position involves coordinating various products and tasks throughout the DoD acquisition process and its life cycle phases. The analyst will be responsible for preparing, configuring, and staffing all milestone documentation necessary for the acquisition process. Additionally, the role requires advising on contracting strategies, preparing contracting documents, and coordinating activities with the Army Contracting Command to ensure compliance and efficiency in procurement processes. In this position, the analyst will actively participate in source selection boards and conduct technical evaluations to assess potential contractors and their proposals. The role also includes participation in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations, which are essential for validating product performance and compliance with specifications. The analyst will assist in providing contract oversight for assigned products, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and that the products are delivered on time and within budget. Another critical aspect of this role is maintaining and managing the program budget and master schedule. The analyst will identify cost, schedule, and performance trade-offs to optimize project outcomes. This includes reviewing Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, and other acquisition documents, as well as assessing product risk mitigation plans to ensure that potential issues are addressed proactively. Overall, the Acquisition Analyst/Product Integrator is integral to the successful management and execution of acquisition projects within the DoD framework.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
  • Must have a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience or a Master's degree and 10 years of experience.
  • Equivalent experience commensurate with DAWIA Level II certification in acquisition career field, OR PMP Certification.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated skills in Product Life Cycle Management, Project Team Management, Acquisition, Contracting, Cost Analysis, GFEBS, DODI 5000.02, Defense Acquisition, System JCIDS.
