About The Position
The position serves as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for contracts when designated by a Contracting Officer. The incumbent will plan, develop, and establish the contractual strategy for the overall acquisition program for the organization. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining acquisition plans, milestone charts, and related schedules, assisting in the development of solicitation packages, and conducting reviews of contract requirements and changes. The role encompasses the full range of acquisition planning and contract management functions required to support various contractual needs from pre-award to post-award functions. The incumbent will also serve as an advisor to program officials in procurement planning meetings and develop guidance material for technical, program management, and acquisition personnel. Additionally, the position involves reviewing and validating comprehensive reports in response to Department of the Army (DA)/Department of Defense (DoD) taskers by gathering and validating various contract information from ATEC subordinate organizations and other analysts.
