About the position

The Acquisition and Contracts Portfolio Analyst at Arcfield is responsible for supporting the acquisition planning and execution processes within the federal government. This role involves assessing contract health, developing acquisition strategies, and assisting in the drafting of necessary documentation to ensure successful acquisitions. The analyst will work closely with Government Contracting Officer Technical Representatives (COTRs) to monitor contract performance and compliance, ensuring alignment with government needs and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and recommend appropriate contract types to achieve acquisition objectives.
  • Assist in crafting acquisition approaches and artifacts, including eliciting and capturing requirements.
  • Assist in program planning, resource allocation, and tracking project execution against the plan.
  • Support COTRs in monitoring progress against contract milestones and deliverables.
  • Review technical specifications to ensure alignment with government needs.
  • Participate in technical interchange meetings and provide input on technical issues.
  • Review performance metrics and contractor invoices for accuracy.
  • Process and document contract modifications, ensuring proper authorization.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract administration and performance.

Requirements

  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a closely related field.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning and resource management processes.
  • Knowledge of program planning and execution processes.
  • Knowledge of business resource planning practices and cost analysis methodologies.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance procedures to ensure data integrity.
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of program risk assessment principles and processes.
  • Ability to apply analytic and diagnostic techniques to resolve quantitative analytical problems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.
  • 8 years' experience in a relevant field.
  • 1 year of experience in the Intelligence Community.
  • Expertise in data management, data governance, and data strategy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
