About the position

The Acquisition Integration Advisor plays a crucial role in the integration of newly acquired entities into the company, focusing on project-oriented duties that address a range of complexities from moderate to substantial. This position is integral to CenterWell's Primary Care Strategy, M&A, and Integration team, operating under the guidance of the Director of Integration. The advisor is expected to manage integration activities for medium-to-large multi-site provider acquisitions, ensuring that the integration process is smooth and effective while maximizing deal value and minimizing disruption to ongoing operations. In this role, the Acquisition Integration Advisor will be responsible for managing all cross-functional integration activities as a program. This includes advising market and corporate leadership on building and articulating integration plans and strategies. The advisor must adeptly manage multiple priorities, focusing on the highest risk issues and leading integration planning and execution efforts. This requires applying a consistent process tailored to each unique integration initiative, working closely with the PCO M&A and Corporate Development Teams to manage the collection of diligence items from sellers pre-close as needed. The advisor will also need to navigate complex decision points and risks, delivering collaborative plans that help teams progress towards their end-state goals. Additionally, the role involves leading other high-priority strategic initiatives and consulting engagements as dictated by PCO strategy, making it essential for the advisor to possess strong business and financial acumen, as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all cross-functional integration activity as a program.
  • Advises PCO market and corporate leadership as a trusted partner to build and articulate integration plans and strategies.
  • Focuses on obtaining deal value and minimizing disruption during integration.
  • Manages multiple priorities by assessing highest risk issues and areas for focus.
  • Leads integration planning and execution efforts using a consistent process tailored to each unique integration initiative.
  • Works with PCO M&A and Corporate Development Teams to manage the collection of diligence items from sellers pre-close as needed.
  • Quickly prioritizes competing priorities to focus on highest value integration actions.
  • Navigates complex multi-faceted decision points, problems, and risks, delivering collaborative plans to progress towards end-state goals.
  • Leads other high-priority strategic initiatives and consulting engagements as PCO strategy dictates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of five years of strategy, integration, or separation experience, preferably in the M&A field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience leading large scale, strategic projects and cross-functional teams while working directly with executive leadership.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Executive presence with the ability to confidently interact with and advise senior management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Teams, etc.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport at all levels within the organization.
