About the position

The Acquisition Integration Advisor plays a crucial role in managing the integration of acquired entities into Humana, focusing on mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. This position is part of the Strategy Operations organization and involves collaborating with leadership to align integration efforts with strategic goals, ensuring effective execution of integration plans, and advising on functional strategies to achieve financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Apply program, integration, and risk management disciplines to lead Integration Management Offices (IMOs) with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with leadership to set integration direction aligned with strategic rationale.
• Lead integration planning and execution efforts using a consistent process tailored to each initiative.
• Organize business stakeholders to capture value and achieve expected financial outcomes from transactions.
• Advise leadership on developing functional strategies and driving strategic decision-making.
• Navigate complex decision points and risks, providing valuable perspectives to leadership and stakeholders.
• Work independently with professional judgment on complex issues to determine the best course of action.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 7 or more years of technical experience in M&A strategy, integration, and separation
• 2 or more years of program leadership experience
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Track record of leading large, complex programs in fast-paced environments
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Executive presence to interact with and advise senior management
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with modern program/project management tools like monday.com
